Built close to the reality of running a dental practice.
Molar began after years spent supporting the technology inside real dental offices and seeing how much time teams lose to outdated, disconnected systems.
From volunteer IT in real offices to a platform built with them.
Dentistry has been part of Naren's life for as long as he can remember — from a two-chair clinic in the Philippines run by his uncle, to his wife's work as a dentist, to years spent managing servers, networks, and systems for the practices of close friends, on a volunteer basis.
That time inside real offices showed a consistent pattern: the friction wasn't in any one place. The software was dated and fragmented. Every problem meant another vendor, another contract, another system to manage. Teams lost hours every week to the seams between tools.
Molar is the answer to that pattern: a modern, cloud-based practice-management platform where scheduling, charting, treatment planning, billing, insurance, imaging, and patient communication share one patient record — built for independent practices, from one location to many.
Today, Molar is being built directly with dentists, office managers, billers, and front-desk teams — deliberately, a small number of practices at a time.
Naren
Founder & CEO, Molar Inc.
“I'm not going to tell you Molar is finished, because it isn't. What I will tell you is that we're building it to become the best platform in dentistry — and I want you to see it, push on it, and tell me where it falls short.”
Commitments to independent dentistry.
Build with practices, not just for them
Features exist because a doctor, office manager, biller, or front-desk team member told us exactly what they needed. That collaboration is a design principle, not a slogan.
One connected platform
The problem was never one bad tool — it was the seams between many. Molar exists to reduce the number of disconnected systems a practice has to manage.
Honesty about where we are
Molar is early and improving fast, and we say so. We label what’s available, what’s in pilot, and what’s coming — and invite practices to push on all of it.
Direct accountability
Practices work directly with the founder and product team. When something matters to your office, you talk to the people who can change it.
